Hello all! Welcome to my blog! I write reviews of Young Adult, Middle Grade, and Children’s books, predominantly in the genre of Fantasy but branching out in other genres, as well.  Special features on my blog are Series Week and Fairy Tale Fridays. I update every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. As a person who wants to be an author, I decided that reading and writing about YA books would be good practice for me, which is why I started this blog. I also want this blog to serve as a reference for those looking for books themselves, so I make sure that I include things such as Genre, Warnings, Recommended Age, and my own Rating of the books in my reviews (check my Reviews by Rating page to see how I rate books).

On review copies:

If you would like to send me a book to review, I encourage you first to head to my Reviews by Rating page to see how I review books and to look at a few reviews (of review copies or otherwise) to see how I format my posts and what information I include. In addition, every review I post on my blog I also post on Goodreads. You can contact me at elizabethkendrex@gmail.com.

Enjoy my blog!

One last thing–recommendations are always welcome!

  1. Looks like a cool blog, I’m excited to read through these and maybe find some more interesting things to read!

  2. I just listened The City podcast and enjoyed the thoughts on YA. I saw that my piece at her.meneutics was referenced (The Deeper Draw of YA). Glad to be introduced to your blog as a good place for reviews of YA books. Just bought Entwined per your recommendation here. Thanks! Keep the reviews coming.
